Pre-print checks

Scan on iOS and Android
Confirm the final page opens over HTTPS
Check that UTM parameters are preserved
Leave enough quiet zone around the QR code

Checks before copying

  • Open the URL before generating the QR code.
  • Scan the printed-size preview, not only the full-resolution image.
  • Avoid placing the code too close to text, folds, or image edges.

Lesson: A QR code is only useful if the destination, print size, and surrounding quiet zone all work together.
