Turn AI Advice Into an Execution Checklist

A practical example for converting a fluent AI recommendation into steps, proof-of-done, risks, and stop conditions.

Worked example

Task context

An AI answer recommends changing a website to improve traffic. The answer sounds helpful, but it mixes tasks, guesses, and policy-sensitive advice. Before doing the work, convert it into a checklist that can be executed and reviewed.

Input and output

AI advice

Improve the site by adding more AI tools, rewriting important pages for SEO, adding ads quickly, and requesting indexing after each change. This should increase traffic and revenue.

Execution checklist

1. Pick 3 pages with Search Console impressions.
Proof: URL list and current query data saved.
Risk: changing pages with no search signal may waste time.

2. Add one worked example to each selected page.
Proof: example has input, output, checks, and related tool link.
Risk: generic examples may look like thin content.

3. Request indexing only for changed high-intent URLs.
Proof: URL Inspection request logged.
Stop condition: do not request every URL again.

Checks before copying

  • Separate actions from claims about future traffic or revenue.
  • Add proof-of-done for every step so completion is observable.
  • Mark policy-sensitive steps such as ads and indexing.
  • Add a stop condition when the AI answer encourages broad changes.

Lesson: Good AI advice becomes safer when every action has evidence, a risk note, and a reason to stop.

Keep working
