Final assessment: find evidence that answers

Five new-context objective items and a written search plan test scoping, queries and source tracing.

All scenarios are fictional and need no industry knowledge. Answer independently before viewing explanations. Written work is not automatically scored.

1. Can you take a bicycle on a ferry this Saturday? Which question best starts the search?
2. Broad keywords return many news stories when you need a known report title. What next?
3. News claims a building saves 25% energy. Before citing it, what matters most?
4. A quoted sentence plus domain, PDF and recent-date filters finds no archive record. What next?
5. Four sites repeat one interview; an original survey differs. How should you organize them?

Integrated search plan

You plan a museum visit next month and need a loaned audio-guide device in a particular language. An old blog says devices exist; a recent comment says only a phone app is available. Write the question, two queries, preferred channels, conflict checks and unresolved report fields. Do not invent findings.

Completion is a personal record, not proof of mastery or certification.
