Compare first and delayed attempts

Revise the plan using evidence without overstating mastery.

Memory, testing and review · 4/5

Method and limits

Keep the first answer, checking evidence and a delayed new task. Note difficulty, hints and timing; scores on different items do not precisely measure ability growth. Look for an explanation and independent use in a new context.

Worked teaching case

A cued first attempt is correct; an uncued attempt three days later is wrong. Keep both instead of retaining only the perfect result. Explain the concept again and plan a new-context retry.

Judge before reviewing

Review all options
  1. Deletion removes evidence about retention.
  2. Correct. Retesting informs the next practice cycle.
  3. One error does not establish a permanent limit.

Manual retry plan

Dates are chosen practice plans, not an optimal-interval prescription. Choose for difficulty and deadline. No notifications are sent; save a new version after the actual attempt.

Independent attempt and revision

Record a real delayed retry. If it has not occurred, mark it pending instead of inventing a result.

Reference and self-check

Include date, independent answer, assistance, checking evidence and next action. Keep scheduled dates separate from actual results.

AI collaboration and verification

Simulated AI advice: “After rereading three times, reciting the answer proves permanent mastery.”

This is a prewritten teaching candidate, not live model output. Judge independently, then check each claim; you may use your own candidate instead.

Checking hint

The candidate generalizes beyond records or conditions. Preserve denominators, assistance or scope from the lesson. Softer wording alone is not verification.
