Start with the reader’s task
Distinguish information, explanation and action requests.

Method and limits
The same material requires different context and actions for different readers. State prior knowledge, question, action and constraints. Put the main point where the reader can find it and use detail to support that task.
Worked teaching case
A manager’s decision memo needs demand, costs and a deadline. A reader’s booking guide needs an entry point, hours and cancellation steps. Swapping titles does not transform one into the other.
Judge before reviewing
Independent attempt and revision
Write one decision question for a manager and one task statement for a new reader about library booking.
Reference and self-check
Manager: whether staffing supports a two-week trial. Reader: how to book, change and attend. Evidence and order differ.
AI collaboration and verification
Simulated AI rewrite: “All residents demand booking; staffing is confirmed and rollout starts next week.” Source: only twelve of twenty respondents support it, and the second volunteer is unconfirmed.
This is a prewritten teaching candidate, not live model output. Judge independently, then check each claim; you may use your own candidate instead.
Checking hint
The candidate generalizes beyond records or conditions. Preserve denominators, assistance or scope from the lesson. Softer wording alone is not verification.
Practice archive and versions
Save an independent attempt before a revision, up to 50 versions. This archive contains this page’s inputs in this language. Files can be restored to the same page and language; there is no automatic synchronization or backup of other legacy lessons.
