Focus Forge

A local-first, AI-inspired Pomodoro focus coach published on itch.io.

Focus Forge is a small independent experiment from Fineuralab: write one goal for the day, choose a study, code, write, clear, or ship template, and turn that goal into finishable focus sprints. Each round records progress, blockers, and the next action, then ends with a local retro.

Why it belongs here

A Fineuralab product experiment, not another utility listing

It solves a real friction point

Many people do not need another timer. They need a smaller first task, a round-level retro, and a gentle next-step prompt.

It stays local-first

Default mode needs no account, backend, or uploaded goal; goals, history, and retros stay in the browser.

It shows product craft

It lets Fineuralab show independent product work, interaction design, and AI-era workflow thinking beyond utility pages.

Current features

25/5/15Editable focus, short break, and long break durations.
TemplatesStudy, code, write, clear, and ship templates for fast starts.
Local coachSplits goals and gives focus/recovery prompts even without an API.
Optional AIUsers can configure their own OpenAI, OpenRouter, or compatible endpoint.
RetroSaves completed work, blockers, next actions, and session summaries.
ExportCopy or download the retro as Markdown.

Privacy and boundaries

Focus Forge’s default local mode does not send goals, history, or retros to Fineuralab. Optional AI mode sends your goal to the AI provider you configure and stores the API key in this browser. Before using real AI mode, avoid entering customer data, secrets, private documents, or work content that should not leave your device.
