Independent attempt and revision
Text A: on two Saturday afternoons, 72 of 80 seats were occupied. Text B: six of twenty evening survey respondents wanted longer hours. A manager claims “90% of residents demand evening opening.” Map the arguments, give a counterexample and rewrite accurately.
Reference and self-check
Distinguish seats from residents, occupancy from demand, and afternoon from evening. 90% is occupancy; 6/20=30% is survey support. Neither establishes population demand. State missing evidence and testable questions.
AI collaboration and verification
Simulated AI summary: “90% seat occupancy means 90% of residents support longer opening.”

The candidate generalizes beyond records or conditions. Preserve denominators, assistance or scope from the lesson. Softer wording alone is not verification.
